A Campaign that Helped Us Find Hope After a Tough Year.
Each year, Google’s “Year in Search” reflects the world’s most searched moments, capturing the highs, lows, and everything in between. In 2016, a year many of us wanted to hit “delete” on, Google flipped the script—showing that even in the chaos, there were searches full of resilience, kindness, and, above all, hope.
As part of the team, I helped turn this iconic recap video into a full-blown campaign for the first time. From social to print to OOH, we made sure the message reached far and wide—and even picked up an Emmy nomination along the way. Not bad for a year we thought we’d never look back on.
